diy body scrub recipes that you need to try asap - a fairytale of my own

Merry Christmas beauties! I hope you had an amazing day filled with love, kindness, and gratitude!

Christmas holidays are a time I like to spend at home, baking cookies, drinking tea and enjoying a good book with the Christmas tree lit up. So the atmosphere just calls for a good Spa treatment at home. I’ve always liked preparing my own beauty treatments because this way I can control what goes into them.

Today I will share with you 3 amazing diy body scrub recipes that are quick and easy to whip up and will leave you with smooth and glowing skin. In my opinion, these are much better than the majority of exfoliating scrubs out there because they contain only natural ingredients, the majority of which you probably already have lying around in your pantry.

  3. 1⁄2 coconut oil
  4. 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  5. 1 air-tight container

Notes
  1. * I usually save the used capsules from the coffee machine, place the coffee in a bowl and let air dry for a few hours.
  2. ** Depending on you room temperature the coconut oil may be already melted because it has a low melting point.

The second recipe is packed with anti-oxidants from the honey and the olive oil. It also contains Vitamin C from the lemon, which brightens the complexion of the skin. The sugar plays a major role in this recipe as well because it helps remove dead skin cells revealing the smooth and glowing skin underneath. This recipe, I have also used on my face and lips and it works wonders – it is super hydrating and has anti-inflammatory properties which help to decrease the appearance of scaring.

The final diy body scrub recipe is a very simple one even though it looks fancy because of the color.  It smells amazing and is super refreshing because the peppermint oil has cooling properties. It also has a calming effect on the body, not to mention it will leave you with smooth and moisturized skin because of the coconut oil.
